BigStuf 2008

Kevin and I were blessed with the opportunity to attend a Youth Retreat this year in Panama City Beach, Fl. The retreat is called Bigstuf and is hosted by Lanny Donahoe and others that are affiliated with North Point Community Church. There were 1500 people in attendance, the majority of them teenagers. The worship sessions consisted of praise music from the Bigstuf Band and lectures from youth pastors, Stuart Hall and Jared Herd. We were in awe as our teenagers raised their hands to the Lord in worship. One could certainly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit there. Our last day when the Devil tried his best to defeat our group, Almighty God came to show up and one of our teens got saved while two more rededicated! The theme of the week was "Broadcast". The question posed to the teens and chaperone's alike was, "what is your broadcast to the world"? The definition for broadcast comes from the adage of throwing seeds out in the field for harvest.
