Our first stop was Matthews, NC. Here I met up with my college suitemater, Staci. She and I both have kiddies now and her oldest Charlie is smack dab in the middle of Jordan and Tyler. Her youngest Gracie is brand new. I couldn't wait to meet her and give her all the pretty PINK clothes I bought her! So here's some pics from our overnight stay in Matthews. We're watching the three boys play in Charlie's swimming
pool. It's always fun picking on the little kid when you're the big kid. Jordan does it all the time, Tyler's used to it. Here are the big boys pouring water (freezing cold water, I might add) on top of Tyler's head.

Jordan and Charlie show off their muscles. Not sure where Jordan's went too, but I definitley see his ribs!!!

Here was a cute moment between Jordan and Gracie. She was just starting to smile and coo some when we made our visit. That was a delight to see in itself! At this moment, though, Gracie was waving her arm as if to try and grab Jordan's nose. Every time she came close, he'd make some silly face that would cause her to smile. So, of course he did it again and again and in this picture, he decided to help her out with the grabbing his nose part. Sweet baby smiles are worth 1000 silly faces!
Our next stop would ordinarily take us to visit the Holbrook family in Wilkesboro, NC. On this stop I would visit my friend Whitney that I met while teaching together in Timmonsville. She also has two children that are very close in age with mine. However, during this trip, she was back home in Hartsville. We high-fived. Me going up to her parts of NC and she coming down to my parts of SC! SO, since we didn't make the Wilkesboro stop, we travelled onto Boone, NC. This is where we met up with Rachel. We got there just in time for lunch at Panera Bread, my first time. Tyler's last! He was terrible as any cranky toddler who's been traveling for 2 1/2 hours would be. So we left there and headed for Mystery Hill. This quaint museum offers fun for a low price of $8 the entire day. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Tyler LOVES Mystery Hill, actually he just loves being out of the carseat and able to walk around without mommy restraining him. Yes, we are in the terrible twos!

After a fun-filled day at the Mystery Hill Museum, what better way to unwind than to put stickers all over your body! And that exactly what these two did! We'll call them, the Sticker Monsters.
As our visit came to a close, we tagged along with Rachel to church and had lunch after at The Mountain House. It was pretty good and pictures were to follow. Here we are in our Sunday best. Then me and my two men were "On the Road again..."
