As most of you know we love going to the beach and usually are able to go with my parents one week in July every year. It's a great way to catch up, enjoy the coast, and have fun with family. This year was great just as the rest! J-bird spread his wings and tempted the rolling waves this year, making me a nervous wreck and on one day telling him to get out of the water, it was too rough. The boy has NO fear. He called the big waves "mommy waves" and the little ones "baby waves". T-man enjoyed the sand, salt and sun just briefly. If he entered the water, it was holding tightly to someone's hand or being carried as far as they would go. The sand was just "so hot" he would say and rush under the tent to sit with me, cuddled in the safety of a towel. His day was usually done shortly after lunch. Kevin and I relished the week sleeping and resting after a tiring week in Puerto Rico. Fun times on this year's BEACH TRIP!
